I cannot believe Sammy is one month old already. It's a weird time thing that it feels like it's flying but at the same time it's dragging, this makes sense right?Sam is: 12.8lbs (via Wii Fit Board)
He's wearing 3-6 month clothing (omg) He's so long just like Lucas. Thankful for onesie extenders.
He's in size 2 disposable diapers but we are finally starting the switch to cloth. My bank account is thankful.
He follows us with his eyes.
He smiles a lot especially if you smile at him.
His coos are more frequent.
He's a champ at tummy time.
He's slowly uncurling from the fetal curl.
He sleeps well 80% of the time. He's still in my bed with me I've been so lazy so I haven't put him in the playard but a few times to try. He instantly wakes up. I'm working on it. I'm not sure why he wakes up there and not in my bed.
We did our first family outing to the most important place ever, Target. We had to get some stuff for Lucas' PreK Valentine's party. It was okay. We had to carry him most of the store but he did really well. I enjoyed Target though hah.
Last few days he's been super super whiny I'm thinking it's something in my diet so we are watching this and I'm cutting most dairy to see if maybe this is it. I'm really thinking it's cheese. *Sobs*
We have already started our 6 week growth spurt cluster feeding. It's not too bad yet. This is the make or break it though. My sanity has been shaken the past few days from a super extra whiny baby and Lucas who has been out of school since Wednesday!
Sam rarely cries. He will fuss but I never let him get to the full blown crying. For some reason yesterday he started doing this "OMG!" wailing. It only happens for a moment right when he wakes up. Either way scares me to death. I'm not a fan. It's a pitiful little cry.

ReplyDeleteI can't even take that picture of your two littlemen together in that last pic... cuteness overload! I totally hear ya' on the time flying by, but yet some days just seem to be never-ending (weird feeling, no doubt). Love that you wayed him on the Wii Fit Board, hehe. NK was always so long too, which was a different experience for me as her big brother was always such a short little baby, haha.

ReplyDeleteHe is doing so awesome with tummy time. He's a champ for sure! I love all these pictures. Daven DID NOT like tummy time. I held him all the time. He even had a flat head for a while and almost had to wear a helmet. We started tummy time too late though (6 months). I just didn't know to start it earlier. Our first pediatrian was horrible. But, thankfully...his head has turned out ok and no helmet.
